• Car Seat- A car seat is also extremely important for your baby. You will want to make sure that you do research on car seats before you purchase one. You will want to check for any recalls or safety concerns before you actually buy. It is also very important that you make sure the car seat is installed properly and all are followed exactly.

• Other Items for the Home- There are also a number of items that are necessary for the home when you new baby arrives. A great item to add to the nursery is a changing table. A changing table to change you child diapers on, and organize your supplies can be very helpful. You will want to make sure that you have plenty of diapers on hand.

• Travel Bag- You will want to make sure that when you take the baby out of the house you have everything you will need. A good way to make sure that you are prepared is by putting together a travel bag with all the essentials. This can be a backpack, or a large tote bag, or any other big bag that will be able to hold supplies. In this bag you will want to keep things such as extra diapers, baby wipes, a change of clothes for the baby, and any other items you can think of that you might need to use when you are out.

As your baby is at home longer you will probably come across other things that you will need, but by having these recommended items on had you will be off to a good start.
